I won't be surprised to hear that you've probably come across a friend zone meme before. Let's face it, they're all over the internet.
Case in point:
I'm sure you've given a wry smile at one of these very images, after finding them posted on a social network you frequent. Facebook, 4chan, Reddit, Tumblr - they always end up being posted somewhere unavoidable.
Because they're so true, right?
Surely the abundance of your fellow friend zoned comrades is testament enough to the existence of the "friend zone"?
I think not. Internet memes themselves, although occasionally hitting a funny home truth, are often a spread of misinformation. And these memes about friend zones are no exception.
Of course I could have it easy and say simply, "Don't believe everything you read on the internet!"
That in itself is obvious enough, but the thing is, we still believe most of what we read, and we subconsciously let it manifest in our actions.
So here I am once again trying to reiterate the most important lesson:
Don't believe in the friend zone and you will not be friend zoned.
But don't just stop there, that's not the only thing. I still have the rest of the keys to success tucked away in my pocket...
